How to motivate Kids
One time, I went to conference with my kid's teacher to discuss about her academic performance.That time I noticed that teacher told her 'You are a hard working student'.Then I had a question Why she appreciated her work not her intelligent.After a while I got an answer of my question.I would like to share my answer of 'Why praising their effort is better than praising their intelligence.
Intelligence vs effort praise (Mueller Dweck,1998) research found that,
1.Effort praising students are showing high persistence in their studies than intelligence praising kids.

2.Effort praising kids have more willing to choose challenging questions than Intelligence praising kids

3.Effort praising kids are more honest (in presenting score) than Intelligence praising kids.

When we appreciate about their hard work ,they will get encouragement to keep on working. Nowadays I am appreciating my kid's hard working.
