Cousins are celebrities for kids
Me and my siblings are ended up staying in different countries.We decided that despite the miles separating our kids, we would make regular visits happen.,so that our kids can know the joy of growing up with their cousins around.
I was lucky to had lot of cousins when I was growing up.Some of my cousins were close to my home town and my all other cousins were far from my home town.But we did gathering at festive time and summer vacation time.I had lot of fun when we play ,cook ,fight and roam around my town.
I want to share about psychological benefits of spending time with their cousins from my side and my kids side(yes,very recently I have met my cousins and my kids met their cousins).

Cousins are ready made friends for your kids.They’re related to you. So it’s an stronger bond. It’s easy to get along with cousins because we usually know each other from a really young age.
Our kids will vent to their cousins. Some time this think made me little sad. But it also makes me happy to know they’ll always have someone to reach out to that will understand where they are coming from.
Our kids gets moral support from them.
Our kids will try to understand their parents characters (abnormal characters too).I will be little mad when my kids play mobile games for long time.My nephew shared his memories with my kid that how I was strict with him when he use video games.Now my daughter understood why I am like that.
Nobody will understand the craziness of your family better than your cousins.When they’re older they’ll be able to laugh and joke about the specific aspects of our family and hey that doesn’t bother me. It’s nice to know they’ll have someone to confide in.
Kids are learning to share.My daughter know how to share toys with her own sister.But after this cousin gathering she learned how to share the toys with more kids.She learned to play group games.
Allowing our children to develop social skills at their own pace.cousins are playing sibling role as well as friends.So that our kids begin to truly interact , and experience what happens when they do.
They protect each other.These guys can fight and argue with the best of ‘em. They have cousin rivalry. They like to tease each other and steal the specific toy the other one is playing with. But they protect and defend each other when necessary. It’s so comforting to see these moments of protection.
Cousins are the people with whom you can share your secrets with, and the people who won’t judge you for anything – after all, you are family. Cousins are also often the people who can offer you the best advice and can be your shoulder to cry on or the person who will listen to you when you need someone to talk to.
Cousins helps to remember their childhood stage.Cousins are usually people you grow up with and get along with when you’re young so you will always share memories together from your childhood. It’s always fun when you meet up with your cousins to reminisce about all the old childhood memories you shared together.
Cousins may not always be there with your kids, but they will always be there for them.A cousin may not always be there as they are not part of your immediate family but are a part of your extended family. However, they will always be there for your kids because they are related to you and they love you. A cousin will always be on hand to offer advice and to listen to your kids when your kids need someone to talk to.
Finally ,being a few people is not a family.Family means lots! Lot of people n lot of love!
